<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform authentication without the need of making a user carry a key or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 16 issues an authentication code for authenticating an agent operating in one or more information processors 14 interconnected by a data communication network and also authenticates the agent by utilizing the authentication code. The information processor 16 comprises: an authentication code issuing processing part 20 for issuing the authentication code including a judgement condition for authenticating each agent by utilizing information stored in a private storage area to which access from the outside is inhibited, making a corresponding agent store the issued code and storing a set of data including its own judgement condition utilized for the authentication; and an authentication code verification part 22 for receiving the authentication code from each agent and authenticating the agent by utilizing the authentication code and the stored judgement condition of itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
