BRANCHING FILTER AND COMBINATION MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching filter having excellent characteristics which can suppress electromagnetic interference between each filter by reinforcing the ground of each filter. SOLUTION: The branching filter is constituted by connecting filters for transmission and reception bands in parallel with antenna terminals. The filters for transmission and reception bands are housed in at least one package 2 sealed with a lid 17 having conductivity. The package 2 is mounted on a mounting substrate 4 having an antenna terminal and covered with a shield 5 which is joined to the mounting substrate 4 and has conductivity. At least one ground terminal of the filters for transmission and reception bands is connected to the lid 17. The lid 17 is electrically connected to the shield 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
