PURPOSE: Structure for preventing a gap between a blower housing and a connection duct in a laundry drier is provided to prevent lowering of drying efficiency and performance caused by unnecessary air suction into a blower by effectively preventing the gap between the blower housing and the connection duct through improvement of structure of the laundry drier. CONSTITUTION: Structure for preventing a gap between a blower housing(7a) and a connection duct(9) in a laundry drier comprises a base constituting the bottom of a body; a front cabinet(2) constituting the front of the body; side cabinets constituting the sides of the body; a back cover constituting the rear of the body; a top cover installed to the upper parts of the front cabinet, the side cabinet, and the back cover; a filter cover(8) installed to the rear of the front cabinet; the connection duct the inlet side of which is connected to the filter cover; and a blower(7) connected to the outlet side of the connection duct.
