PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital trimming system capable of omitting a connecting terminal required between a device to be trimmed and a trimming device and capable of miniaturizing the profile of a product. SOLUTION: A predetermined frequency clock signal produced by an internal clock producing means is converted from a voltage fluctuation into a current fluctuation in the side of the device to be trimmed and, thereafter, the signal is transmitted to the trimming device through a power supply inputting terminal in the device to be trimmed and a power supply outputting terminal of the trimming device side. In the side of the trimming device, the current fluctuation from the device to be trimmed is read to convert the same into the voltage fluctuation. Further, the voltage fluctuation is shaped into the clock signal as the reference clock signal of the trimming system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
