PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowoff mode switch mechanism for an air conditioner for a vehicle advantageous in reducing door operation force and ventilating resistance, and capable of restraining deterioration of vehicle mountability. SOLUTION: Two rotary doors 25 and 26 are provided on the blowoff mode switch mechanism. The two rotary doors 25 and 26 are equipped with rotating shafts 25b and 26b, outer peripheral door surfaces 25e and 26e rotating integrally with the rotating shaft on a portion apart from a center of the rotating shaft to the radially outer side in a predetermined distance, and left and right side plate parts 25d and 26d for connecting both ends of the outer peripheral door surface and the rotating shaft. A specified one of three apertures 20 to 22 is opened and closed by one of the two rotary doors 25 and 26, and the remaining two apertures of the three apertures 20 to 22 are opened and closed by the other one of the rotary doors 25 and 26.
