PURPOSE: Provided is a method for forming a pattern on a wood surface, which prevents deformation and cracking of the wood, helps air-purification and health promotion by aroma therapeutic materials, and gives a beautiful and distinct pattern. CONSTITUTION: The method for forming a pattern on a wood surface comprises the steps of: dipping wood cut into a desired size into water at 100 deg.C for 3 days or more; drying the wood to a water content of 10-15%; sanding the wood to smoothen the surface; applying charcoal powders having a size of 300 mesh or more; rubbing the powders to infiltrate them into a part having no annual rings; removing residual charcoal powders; and applying a transparent coating on the surface. |
