PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify preparation work for a specimen, and to surely perform inspection in a sealed condition. SOLUTION: This device has a preliminary specimen preparing device for peeling off a prescribed fused piece of a packing container 10 from a wall of the container 10 to prepare a preliminary specimen 52, and a cutter for cutting the preliminary specimen 52 along a set cutting line to prepare a specimen 12. An operator is not required to prepare the specimen 12 by manual work, since the prescribed fused piece of the packing container 10 is peeled off from the wall of the container 10 to prepare the preliminary specimen 52 by the preliminary specimen preparing device, and since the preliminary specimen 52 is cut along the set cutting line to prepare the specimen 12. Therefore, not only the preparation work for the specimen 12 is simplified, but also a cutting portion is prevented from being erroneously cut. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
