PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-sized wear-resistant aluminum alloy body which is excellent in wear resistance, shear cutting properties, and forgeability and is prevented from swelling or causing blisters; and its production method. SOLUTION: The long-sized wear-resistant aluminum alloy body comprises 4.5-13 mass% Si, 0.001-0.3 mass% Fe, 0.1-2 mass% Mg, 0.001-0.3 mass% Mn, 0.001-0.3 mass% Cr, 0.005-0.05 mass% Ti, 0.003-0.5 mass% at least one element selected from Ca, Sb, and P, and the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities. The aluminum alloy body contains Si grains with an average grain size of 5μm or lower and a maximum grain size of 20μm or lower. The grain structure of the alloy body is a hot rolling structure, a recrystallization structure, or a mixture of these structures. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
