PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump module protection structure capable of securing practically sufficient clearance when a vehicle deforms while maintaining seal performance of a pump module attachment part on a fuel tank. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pump module protection structure protecting an attachment part of a pump module 4 for supplying fuel from a fuel tank 3 to an engine, to the fuel tank 3. A protector member 1which has a protection part 1a covering at least a part of a functional part projectingly provided on an upper surface 4d of the pump module 4 and a protection flange part 1b extended from the protection part 1a and arranged adjacently to a general surface 3a of the fuel tank 3 and which is formed to keep a distance d between the protection flange part 1b and the general surface 3a of the fuel tank 3 shorter than a distance D between a flange part 4e of the pump module 4 and the general surface 3a of the fuel tank 3 is provided.
