发明名称 APPARATUS FOR WORKING BULLETS TO CARTRIDGES OF SMALL ARMS
摘要 FIELD: working any round metallic articles by rolling them, mainly manufacture of ammunition for small arms. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes rotor in the form of cylindrical body; housing with working surface that embraces part of rotor for forming open at mutually opposite sides through space between lateral surface of rotor and working surface. Width of cylindrical surface of rotor corresponds to length of bullet. On both sides of rotor and along the whole length of lateral sides of working surface there are slopes or grooves providing formation on rear surface of bullet guiding collars from material of outer envelope of bullet. Said collars made as one piece with bullet body are formed due to reduction of bullets during rotor rotation with use of working surface. Diameter of bullet is lowered until desired size of arm barrel duct; guiding collar provides engagement of bullet with grooves of duct of arm barrel. Bullets are worked independently upon arrangement of their front or rear parts relative to rotor axis. Invention provides high killing capability of small arms due to increased speed of bullet moving in duct of barrel at respective increased acceleration caused by action of powder gases of cartridge charge without changing designs of small arms and cases of cartridges. Guiding collar provides close joining of bullet in front part of cartridge case and good sealing of powder charge of cartridge. EFFECT: improved killing capability of small arms with bullets worked according to such method, lowered wear of faces of grooves in small arms barrel duct. 3 cl, 4 dwg
