PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for providing route return information in navigation and a program for presentation, capable of providing information on roads unreturnable to a computed route at the display of the computed route on a screen. SOLUTION: The apparatus for providing route return information in navigation is provided with a route-computing part 42 for computing a route for reaching a destination; a display part 10 for displaying a map; a route-determining part 45 for determining whether a road on the map is the computed route; a display control part 43 for displaying the road determined as the computed route on the display part 10, in such a way as to be discriminated from other roads; a returnability determining part 46 for determining whether a motor vehicle which has entered a road determined as not the computed route can return to the computed route; and a distinguishable display control part 47 for displaying the roads determined as unreturnable roads, by the returnability determining part 46 on the display part 10, in such a way as to be distinguished from other roads.
