<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine having an NPY (neural peptide Y) receptor antagonistic action, which is useful as a treating agent for circulatory diseases, central nervous diseases, respiratory diseases, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A compound expressed by formula (1) [wherein, A, B, C and D are each a methine group allowed to have a substituent, or nitrogen atom; E is nitrogen atom, methine group or a methine group substituted with hydroxy group; (n) is 0 or 1; T, U, V and W are each a methine group allowed to have a substituent, or nitrogen atom; X is a group represented by N(SO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>4</SP>), N(COR<SP>5</SP>) or CO; Y is a group represented by C(R<SP>6</SP>)(R<SP>7</SP>), O or N(R<SP>8</SP>) (the case that E is nitrogen atom, (n) is 0, X is a group represented by CO and Y is a group represented by O simultaneously, is excluded)], its salt, an ester or an N-oxide derivative are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
