PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost fermentation treatment apparatus which does not require a building for accommodating a fermenter and a transferring and turning device, is cost effective, can shorten the work period for installation of the compost fermentation treatment apparatus, and can be installed to a desired area without receiving restrictions as an architecture. SOLUTION: The compost fermentation treatment apparatus has: a fermenter 1 provided with a feeding port 4 at its rear end and a takeout port 5 at its front end; and a transferring and turning device 10 consisting of a turning machine 13 mounted on a truck 12 self-traveling in a longitudinal direction above the fermenter 1. A roof 20 is provided on the truck 12, and expandable and contractable tent roofs 31 and 32 for covering the upper part of the fermenter 1 between the feeding port 4 section and the truck 12 and between the truck and the takeout port 5 section. Further, housing spaces 51 and 52 for accommodating the expandable and contractable tent roofs shrunk by the movement of the truck 12 are built behind the feeding port 4 and in front of the takeout port 5.
