PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper hinge capable of preventing a hinged part from being broken or damaged by the forced opening of a cover and securing the convenience of use by smoothly and automatically opening the cover of a small portable article. SOLUTION: A spring support cap 2 having an opening direction different from that of an external housing 1 is formed in the external housing 2 integrally with each other, and a sliding cam 3 moving by the contact thereof with a cam by rotation is installed in the cap. A compression/torsion spring 4 having one end fixed to the sliding cam 3 and the other end fixed to the external housing 1 is installed between the spring support cap 2 and the external housing 1. An internal housing 5 is inserted between the outer surface of the spring support cap 2 and the inner surface of the external housing 1, the sliding cam 3 is connected to the internal housing 5 through an adjusting screw 6, and the internal housing 5 is elastically supported by a compression spring 7 between the spring support cap 2 and the internal housing 5.
