PURPOSE: A brake booster for a vehicle is provided to easily vary boosting rate and jump-in-force by adjusting the contacting area of a reaction disk and a control plunger without changing a valve body. CONSTITUTION: A brake booster for a vehicle comprises a casing in which front cells and rear cells are combined airtightly; a power piston and a diaphragm dividing the inside of the casing into constant pressure chambers and transformation chambers; a valve body to the outer periphery of one end of which the central parts of the power piston and diaphragm are combined airtightly; first and second control plungers(70a,70b) movably installed in a cylinder hole(66) axially disposed in one end of the valve body, to control the incoming of air; an input shaft one end of which is combined to the first control plunger and the other end of which is connected to a brake pedal; and an output shaft coming in contact with the central part of one end of the valve body while interposing a reaction disk(51) to receive the force of displacement of the power piston and diaphragm if the input shaft advances. Adjusting members(80a,80b), adjusting the area contacting with the reaction disk to easily adjust the boosting rate, the jump-in force, and the generating time of jump-in, are detachably installed to the central part of one end of the valve body.
