PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device having excellent usability for a side cover or the like covering a part of the inside of a working-machine body. SOLUTION: One hinge plate 35 is installed to the mounting plate section of a revolving frame. An pivotal supporting section 46 for the other hinge plate 36 is supported pivotally to the pivotal supporting section 44 for one hinge plate 35 in the vicinity of the internal side face of a skirt section. An arm section 47 projected from the section 46 in an approximately recessed shape projected in the lower direction under the closed state of the side cover, inverted under the open state of the side cover and fitted on the skirt section is formed. The arm section 47 of the other hinge plate 36 can be opened sufficiently to the skirt section astride over the upper end section of the skirt section in a space section when the side cover is opened. Since a hinge device 32 cannot be viewed from the outside of a machine body, a usability such as an improvement in an appearance can be improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
