PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine casing of an engine for a small vehicle with improved recycling efficiency capable of surely separating a light-alloy portion of the engine from a fastening screw. SOLUTION: This engine casing 1 of the engine for the small vehicle is formed of light alloy, and is fastened with a steel fastening bolt 5. A mounting boss 8 of the engine casing 1 is provided with a fragile part 20 to be deformed for detaching the fastening bolt 5 when an excessive force acts in a direction orthogonal to a fastening axial line direction of the fastening bolt 5.
