PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle for high lift work capable of preventing failure of an electric motor (for example, burnout) due to continuous operation of a pump for emergency. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a working device, pumps 53, 55 for emergency, an emergency pump switch 81, a timer counting part 95, a time determination part 97, and a pump control part 99. The working device is installed on the vehicle and operated by a hydraulic actuator 61. The pumps 53, 55 for emergency are driven by the electric motors M1, M2 to supply hydraulic oil to the hydraulic actuator 61. The emergency pump switch 81 is operated to control the operation of the pumps 53, 55 for emergency. The timer counting part 95 measures the operation time of the respective pumps 53, 55 for emergency by the operation of the emergency pump switch 81. The time determination part 97 determines whether the operation time of the respective pumps 53, 55 for emergency measured with the timer counting part 95 exceeds a predetermined time or not. The pump control part 99 regulates the control of the operation of the pumps 53, 55 for emergency for a certain time when it is determined that the operation time of the pumps 53, 55 for emergency exceeds a predetermined time.
