PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make troublesome burr removal unnecessary after molding a separator for a fuel cell.

SOLUTION: This is a metal mold provided with the upper mold 12 and the lower mold 11 for producing the separator 1 by utilizing a mixture of binder resin and graphite particles, and in which the space formed at least in piling up the upper mold 12 and the lower mold 11 has (1) a cavity space corresponding to the separator 1, and (2) overflow spaces 21a to 21b, which are communicated with the cavity space and which are installed in the face direction of the separator 1, and from which a surplus of the mixture of the binder resin and the graphite particles overflows.
