PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam splitting means for projecting the upper and lower reference points and elongating ruled lines with a semiconductor laser type projector for projecting ruled lines and a reference point at a construction site and the like. SOLUTION: Two surfaces of a triangular prism or one side of a rectangle transparent plate is ground, and one surface and the ground side of the transparent plate are made reflecting surfaces. By inserting the ridgeline at which the two surfaces cross, into a laser beam of semiconductor laser, a single beam is split into two directions; each is projected to an object surface; and if necessary, a condenser lens is arranged in the split light flux, to make the projected light point bright.
