<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil mist lubrication unit as improvement of the conventional arrangement in which the supply of oil depends upon the condition of piping, a dispersion is generated in the amount of oil supplied to the object intended, and the oil attached to inside the piping is returned to the unit side by the gravitational force after the machine is stopped (after the supply of compressed air is stopped). <P>SOLUTION: An oil collecting mechanism 4 is equipped with an oil sump 4a formed on the base side of an oil mist transporting line 13, a re-atomizing pump 4c to be put in communication with the oil sump 4a through a first oil recirculation line 4b, and a second oil recirculation line 4d to put the pump 4c in communication with an atomizing device 2, whereby the oil likely to stagnate in the oil sump 4a can be collected by forced recirculation into an oil accommodation tank 1 via the first oil recirculation line 4b and the second oil recirculation line 4d with the drive of the pump 4c, and it is possible to use a great majority of the oil to atomization efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
