METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING RADAR SIGNALS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for detecting radar signals are provided to increase the detection probability of the radar signal by generating sawtooth wave signals corresponding to the radar signals of various frequencies. CONSTITUTION: The first waveform(320) including a plurality of sawtooth waveforms(300,305,310,315) is applied to the first local oscillator. The second waveform is applied to the second local oscillator. The first local oscillator outputs the first local oscillation signal including a plurality of sawtooth waves having different periods and different height. A radar signal is received. The first intermediate frequency signal is generated by mixing the radar signal with the first local oscillation signal. The second local oscillator outputs the second local oscillation signal corresponding to the second waveform. The second intermediate frequency signal is generated by mixing the first intermediate frequency signal with the second local oscillation signal. The radar signal is detected by using the second intermediate frequency signal.
