PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device which can be simply opened and closed even by a physically handicapped person in the folding door device in which a slave door and a master door rotataly installed through a hinge or the like are connected through a joint so as to be folded up and the master door is hung by a slider movably fitted to an upper rail. SOLUTION: The slider 6 hangs a section in the vicinity of the front end section of the master door 1, a handle 7 gripped when the folding door is opened or closed is installed on the joint side of the master door 1 and a grip 8 for a locking device is mounted near the handle.
