PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case provided with a light source with various performance effects through light by a synergistic effect with a combination of the light source and a mirror plate and with a beautiful or fresh and novel decoration creating an unusual and particular atmosphere. SOLUTION: The storage case 1 having the mirror plate 7 on the back face 6a of a cover body 6 for opening and closing a case body 3 is provided with a group of LEDs (light emitting diode) 22 mounted on the back face 7a of the mirror plate 7 and placed at a space between the back face 6a of the cover body 6 for emitting light to irradiate from the back face 6a of the cover body 6 to the periphery of the mirror plate 7, a ring cover plate 27 provided on and surrounding the periphery of the mirror plate 7 for transmitting light, button cells 24 for making the group of the LEDs 22 emit light and a control element 25 for controlling light emission of the group of the LEDs. The cover body 6 is made into transparent or translucent to transmit light. Silver plating on the back face 7a of the mirror plate 7 is partly removed, and light is emitted from a mirror face 7b.
