PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity in a long wavelength region and excellent and constant half tone reproducibility. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor constituted by laminating a photoreceptive layer incorporating at least charge generating material, charge transfer material and binding resin on a conductive supporting body, the charge generating material is oxy-titanium phthalocyanine, which has a maximum peak at 7.5°in a Bragg angle (2θ±0.2°) in X-ray diffraction spectrum using CuKαas a beam source, and the strength of other diffraction peaks is the≤20% of the strength of the diffraction peak at 7.5°, and the charge transfer material incorporates a compound expressed by a general expression (1) or (2).
