PURPOSE: A monitor device is provided to prevent a main body of a monitor from the pivoting in the case that the main body is lowered. CONSTITUTION: A fixed stand part(20) is installed to a base part(3) in an errect position. A movable stand part(30) is moved upward/downwardand is combined to the fixed stand part. A main body bracket is fixed to the main body(10) of the monitor. A pivot supporter is connected to the movable stand part in order to pivot/rotate the main body bracket. A pivoting stopper includes a latching part(71) installed to the pivot supporter, and a locking part installed to the fixed stand part. The locking part prevents the pivoting of the main body bracket by latching the latching part in the condition that the movable stand part is lowered to the fixing stand part.
