PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for calling documents between different systems in such a way that a document of a system other than Web systems can be called from WWW documents in a single operation. SOLUTION: The device comprises a link page 25a which is called in response to operation on a WWW page 22 displayed on the screen of a terminal 21, the page including a parameter 24 for specifying a document 31 on a system other than Web systems; and a link program 25 which is activated either when the link page is called or in response to operation on the WWW page to activate the system other than Web systems.
