PURPOSE: A washing machine with a flowmeter is provided to feed washing water to the washing machine accurately in requiring the specific amount of water by detecting the amount of washing water supplied to the washing machine precisely with the flowmeter. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine connecting to an external water supply apparatus(10) includes an outer tub(2) and an inner tub(3) in a body(1); a water supply pipe(20) connecting the outer tub to the external water supply apparatus and guiding water to the outer tub; a flowmeter(30) installed in the water supply pipe to measure the amount of washing water flowing into the outer tub; a valve(40) formed in the water supply pipe to cut off supply of water; a control unit(50) regulating the valve according to the detection signal of the flowmeter; and a lead wire connecting the flowmeter to the control unit, and transmitting the detection signal of the flowmeter to the control unit. The washing water amount is detected with the flowmeter, and the detection signal is applied to the control unit through the lead wire. Supplying water is finished by shutting off the valve in feeding water to the predetermined water amount. |
