PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolyester having a high trasparency and an excellent hue. SOLUTION: The copolyester is obtained by using a dicarboxylic acid component based on terephthalic acid, a glycol component based on ethylene glycol and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and a catalyst being a germanium compound. The copolyester contains an alkaline earth metal compound and a phosphorus compound and has a color L value of 60 to 70 and a color b value of -3 to 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
