PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of work to drive a connecting pin used for connecting a jib to the tip of a boom and to punch a hole in a mobile crane, shorten working time and save labor and in addition, to reduce space and transportation cost by securing a place to contain disassembled connecting pins when transporting the mobile crane. SOLUTION: A holding bracket 21 is turnably provided at a position near the insertion hole 18 of an auxiliary jib 12, and fixing tools 24 and 24 are fixed to positions near both ends of the holding bracket 21. The connecting pin 14 is driven with a hammer after aligning a boss 17 on the side of a top boom 11, the insertion hole 18 on the side of the auxiliary jib 12 and the shaft center of the connecting pin 14 with the holding bracket 21 supported by inserting the connecting pin 14 into the fixtures 24 and 24 with play.
