<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-oxidizing composition having excellent in in-vivo anti-oxidizing action and in-viro anti-oxidizing action not developed herotofore. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-oxidizing composition synergistically enhanced in anti-oxidizing function possesssed by the following substrances is oltained by mixing rice bran/soybean fermented matter and a guava leaf extract having the anti-oxidizing function and fermenting the resulting mixture microbially. This anti-oxidizing composition comprises a fermented composition obtained by a process wherein a culture medium, which contains at least guava leaves and the guava leaf extract, rice brans, soybeans and a carbon source, is adjusted to pH 7.0 and inoculated with bacteria of fermented soybeans (Bacillus natto) to be fermented at 42°C for 48 hr and the culture liquid after fermentation is compressed and filtered and subsequently decolored and deodorized by activated carbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
