FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: fuel assembly is provided with stepped bushing disposed in central bore of its bottom nozzle around central rod. Step surface of bushing contacts butt-end surface of bottom nozzle. Butt end of stepped bushing protruding beyond bottom nozzle engages butt-end surface of nut as the latter is turned in. Central bores in top and bottom nozzles have shaped profile. Sections of hanger end and stepped bushing are specifically profiled to provide for azimuthal fixation of hanger and bushing relative to top and bottom nozzles.
