PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and smoothly reproduce a plurality of tunes in accordance with the attributes of each tune in consecutive reproduction of the tunes of different audio attributes when the tunes of different audio attributes are recorded on an information recording medium. SOLUTION: An information reproducing device stores into a storing part either collective attribute information showing attributes about the entire audio information recorded on the information recording medium in advance, or a collective attribute information table prepared from the individual pieces of attribute information of the audio information recorded on the information recorder. When a user instructs a tune to be reproduced, the reproducing device sets an attribute that corresponds to the tune to reproduce the tune. When the attribute of the next tune to be reproduced is different from that of the present tune in consecutive reproduction of a plurality of tunes, the reproducing device immediately refers to the collective attribute information to change attribute setting and searches the next tune. After the reproducing device completes the change of the attribute setting, the reproducing device starts to reproduce the next tune. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
