PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for user interface display which realize configuration and display of various user interfaces in a mobile communication terminal and enable them to be easily changed. SOLUTION: The apparatus which configures and displays user interfaces in the mobile communication terminal is provided with a display unit for displaying letters, symbols and image data and comprises: a memory including two or more layers each having a data display area and data transparently processed in areas other than the data display areas; and a control unit which reads data of different layers from the memory and combines the read data to configure one shape data and performs control for displaying the shape data on the display part.
