PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OHV engine oil supply structure capable of spontaneously supplying oil to a cylinder liner upper side with simple machining at low cost.SOLUTION: An OHV engine spontaneous oil supply structure in which a cam 7 disposed at a lower position than a cylinder head 4 performs opening operation of engine valves 5 via a push rod 8 and a rocker arm 9, is configured so that an oil passage 17 is bored from an upper portion of a lower push rod hole 12 bored toward a cylinder block 1 for the push rod 8 to pass therethrough toward an outer circumferential surface of a cylinder liner 2 obliquely downward of the upper portion of the hole 12, whereby part of oil flowing from an upper surface of the cylinder head 4 down to the lower push rod hole 12 via an upper push rod hole 11 bored near the cylinder head 4 can spontaneously flow down to the oil passage 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
