<p>It is intended to provide a novel method of treating cerebrovascular disorders which comprises overexpressing HGF by transferring an HGF gene. According to this method with the use of the HGF gene, cerebrovascular disorders such as brain infarction can be actively treated via gene transfer. Thus, it becomes possible to maintain nerve functions and inhibit infarction in a patient for whom no efficacious therapy has been established so far.</p> |
