Electromagnetic interference (EMI) data indicating the performance of the sensors and a controller when the safety system is exposed to electromagnetic energy are obtained. The data indicating the system performance during a crash event is obtained. The EMI and crash data are used to determine the system performance during a crash when the system is exposed to electromagnetic energy.
