PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite wireless communication system capable of efficiently starting short range wireless communication. SOLUTION: The composite wireless communication system 1 related to this invention includes: a mobile communication network comprising mobile phones 20 and a plurality of base stations 10 for relating communication among the mobile phones 20; and a wireless communication network making short range wireless communication between the mobile phone 20 and a peripheral apparatus 30. The base station 10 includes: a peripheral apparatus information DB 11 for storing addresses of the peripheral apparatuses 30 permitting communication by the wireless communication network within a communication range of the base station 10; and a mobile communication section 12 for transmitting address information stored in the peripheral apparatus information DB 11 to the mobile phone 20 entering the communication range of the base station 10, and the mobile phone 20 makes communication with the peripheral apparatus 30 on the basis of the address information sent from the base station 10.
