PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct the edge runout of a tool by a small force, stably keep high runout correction accuracy, and easily apply to a holder using a cutting tool with a large diameter. SOLUTION: A ring member 42 is rotatably fitted with an annular stage 41 of a tubular base 48 of a holder body 31. An eccentric cam 43 for correcting the edge runout is rotatably provided on the member 42 around the radial axis of the member 42. Further, a runout correcting pin 44 having one end in contact with the eccentric cam 43 and the other end in contact with the rear end surface 38a of a fastening cylinder 38 is provided movably in a parallel direction to the center axis of a flange 33. The eccentric cam 43 is rotated to adjust the pressurizing force of the pin 44 to the rear end surface 38a of the fastening cylinder 38. Thus a connecting base 341 of a chuck cylinder 34 is designed to radially elastically deform so that the edge runout of the tool 29 approaches zero. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
