PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to widen alignment film and seal pattern forming areas for increasing the step stability and prevent the light leakage by controlling the size of pixel areas for minimizing the aperture rate. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first pixel line area(IX) smaller than a second pixel line area(X) for reducing the transmissivity of the first pixel line area, thereby reducing the light leakage generated in the first pixel line area. Any additional pixel electrodes are omitted from non-display areas and adjacent areas thereto in the first pixel line area, so that sections between (n-1)dummy lines(131) and ends of data lines(134) are not corresponding to areas for realizing a screen, and able to serve as areas for forming an alignment film and a seal pattern. |
