PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict torque shift due to change of input torque. SOLUTION: A controller 80 decides a target speed change ratio based on acceleration opening and car speed, and decides a target inclination angle. It decides a stroke x of a trunnion 36 based on difference between a current inclination angle and the target inclination angle, and conducts stroke control by a hydraulic control valve 52. The controller 80 corrects the stroke x in accordance with input/output disc pressure, and corrects reaction to a piston in a hydraulic piston chamber 50 at the time of quick change of the input/output disc pressure.
