<p>A PET device includes a detector, a signal processor, a sorter, N information processing devices, a host computer, and a switching hub. The N is an integer not smaller than 2. Each of the information processing devices creates a histogram by accumulating simultaneous calculation information input from the sorter. Each of the information processing devices performs image processing according to the histogram of the simultaneous calculation information. Here, each of the information processing devices divides the histogram into N portions to be processed. The host computer uses the result of image processing in each of the information processing devices so as to reconstruct an image representing a spatial distribution of generation frequency of an optical pair in the measurement space and display its image on the display.</p> |
