PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a thermoelectric module can be manufactured by a simple working process, and to provide a jig for manufacturing the thermoelectric module. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the thermoelectric module, alternately arranged thermoelectric elements P and N are collectively coupled with electrodes T by means of a discharge plasma sintering device 1. The jig 10 for manufacturing the thermoelectric module which is one embodiment of this invention houses and holds the thermoelectric elements P and N and electrodes T in a prescribed layout and sets the holding elements P and N and electrodes T to a prescribed position of the sintering device 1.
