<p>A vehicle final drives assembly operable between a pair of wheels across an axle. The assembly comprises an axle (89) connected to two half shafts (91, 92) by respective hydraulically actuated couplings (56, 57), the half shafts (91, 92) in use driving respective wheels, and each coupling (56, 57) comprising a clutch (93) for transmitting drive between the axle (89) and a respective half shaft (91, 92) when actuated. Each coupling (56, 57) is independently actuated upon relative rotational movement between the axle (89) and a respective half shaft (91, 92).</p> |
