FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical machines. SUBSTANCE: motor has rotor-mounted 2ppole inductor with permanent magnets and variable- sign poles, stator in the form of salient-pole segments enclosing inductor poles, and armature winding disposed on segment back and connected to power circuit through contactless control switches whose control circuits are coupled with output of rotor position sensor coupled with rotor. Novelty is that motor inductor is made in the form of separate permanent magnets with alternating-polarity pole pairs having no common paths for closing magnetic fluxes, that segment poles enclose permanent magnets of inductor on two sides in direction of magnetization, one pole pair of stator segments having pole length greater than pole pitch of inductor permanent magnets while length of other pole pair of stator segments is smaller than pole pitch of inductor permanent magnets.
