The aim of the invention is to permit the adjustment of translatory or rotatory round guides (10) of slides or of surrounding rotating parts. To this end, the invention provides a device for reducing guide play and/or for changing the pretensioning of the roll bodies (14), which are used inside the round guides and which are radially arranged between an inner cylindrical guide arbor (12) and an outer cylindrical guide bush (16) in an all around manner inside the space situated between said guide arbor and guide bush. The guide arbor (12) is provided with a central coaxial cup-type boring (30) whose open side is provided with a port (34) for a fluid pressure medium.
