PURPOSE: An oil breather is provided to reduce an oil consumption and atmospheric contamination by achieving improved performance of oil separation of the oil breather. CONSTITUTION: An oil breather comprises an oil breather body(30) having a gas inlet port(30a) communicated to a cylinder and a gas outlet port(30b) communicated to the atmosphere; a float(32) floating by the gas flowing into the oil breather body; a restriction member(34) arranged in the oil breather body, and which restricts the elevating motion of the float; a guide unit(36) coupled to the oil breather body, and which guides the vertical movement of the float; and a restoring member for connecting the restriction member and the float and providing a restoring force for lowering the float.
