PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beam scanner constituted so that several rotary polygon mirrors can be layered in the thickness direction without increasing a noise. SOLUTION: As for the optical beam scanner 10 provided with light beams from semiconductor laser units 5B and 5R, the rotary polygon mirror 1 for separately reflecting the light beams and scanning with the beams through the 1st and 2nd polygon mirrors 1B and 1R layered in the thickness direction, and several scanning optical systems arranged corresponding to respective light beams so as to image-form the light beams, the 1st polygon mirror 1B is arranged so that the reflection surface of the 1st polygon mirror 1B is shifted from the reflection surface of the 2nd polygon mirror in the rotating direction.
