PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an arrangement of connecting terminals be adjusted to that of contact pins even if it is an electrical component with a large common difference of the outside circuit in a socket for the electrical component electrically connected with the external circuit while the electrical component is removably retained. SOLUTION: This arrangement has the contact pin 2 installed contactable with connecting terminal 22 of the electrical component 20, the socket main body 1 wherein a mounting part 5 is formed on which the electrical component 20 is mounted and which has an insertion position wherein the electrical component 20 is inserted and an alignment position wherein the arrangement of the connecting terminals 22 of the electric parts 20 and the arrangement of the contact pins 2 are aligned, and alignment mechanisms (11, 12, 13) wherein the electric parts 20 is moved to the aligned position from the insertion position of the mounting part 5. By this, the arrangement of the connecting terminals 22 can be adjusted to that of the contact pins 2 even if it is the electrical component 20 with the large common difference of the external circuit.
