摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to presume atmospheric pressure and an exhaust gas temperature accurately and with good responsiveness for controlling the rate-of-flow characteristics of a turbo-charger installed on an engine when the engine is in operation in altitudes. etc. SOLUTION: The method to presume the atmospheric pressure and the exhaust gas temperature of the engine equipped with the turbo-charger measures the inlet and outlet pressures of a compressor, the engine speed, and the revolving speed of the turbo-charger. The corrected revolving speed of the turbo- charger is calculated on the basis of the inlet temperature of the compressor, and from a compressor map, the pressure ratio is determined using the engine speed and the corrected revolving speed of the turbo-charger. The atmospheric pressure is presumed through calculation from the obtained pressure ratio and the inlet and outlet pressures of the compressor. Then the engine load is measured, and the standard exhaust gas temperature is determined from an exhaust gas temperature map and corrected with the atmospheric pressure and the suction temperature, and the exhaust gas temperature is presumed.
